Each fall leadership conference is open to active and aspiring members of SkillsUSA Wyoming.
If overnight stay is necessary, please make your reservations DIRECTLY with a Rock Springs hotel of your choice. Preferred pricing has been offered by Homewood Suites by Hilton.
All Wyoming SkillsUSA chapters are encouraged to come together for a one-day leadership conference this fall. You are highly encouraged to attend the conference. The conference registration fee is $45 per attendee and will include leadership training, lunch, and an afternoon snack. Conference registration will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please register and submit your payments early.
Registration
Registration will be open from October 10 thru October 24, 2022. All payments are due by November 7, 2022. Checks should be made payable to SkillsUSA Wyoming with “Fall Leadership” in the memo line.
GENERAL TENTATIVE SCHEDULE
830am-9am: School arrival, registration 9am-9:30am: Opening Ceremony 9:40am-12pm: Rotational Framework Workshops (facilitated by State Officer Team)
12:05pm to 12:50pm: Lunch and State Officer Application and Experience Panel
Advisors: 2023 State Leadership and Skills Conference updates and Q and A with Janie Wilcox and updates for welding advisors directly from a representative of the Technical Committee.
430pm: General Session and QUIZ BOWL
5pm: Awards and Closing Ceremony
DRESS CODE
All attendees must wear business casual attire, including a polo-style or oxford-style shirt, khaki pants (any color), and casual shoes. All shirts must be neatly tucked in. No jeans or gym shoes are permitted.
WHAT TO BRING
All students and advisors will need to bring a writing pad or notebook, along with a pen or pencil, to take notes and jot down new ideas. Things to consider: Laptop, water bottle.
